Rebecca  is our Honeychop Star for the South West, she is based in Wiltshire and is a yard manager.

She has been riding since a young age and overtime it has become a lifetime passion.

She started off with local showing, gymkhanas, clear rounds and many many hours spent at the yard just being with horses.

But at the age of 17 she joined the Army to become a Gunner in The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery. She has had fantastic opportunities to ride in all disciplines from Dressage to team chasing and even represented the Royal Artillery in the Military SJ Class at Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Since leaving the army she has worked as a Head Groom on an Eventing Yard, an Equine College and is now yard Manager for a Stud in Wiltshire.

Rebecca says her biggest dream is to ride at Badminton & Burghley, but says a realistic dream is to have a safe and success season next year and she juggles all this along with her young son.

Rebecca Says:

“My horse has had a great season this year competing for Forces Equine at Hickstead and in unaffiliated ODEs- winning at Bovington which was his first ever ODE. This has put us in a good position to take the plunge and compete BE next season and whilst it’s always nice to bring home red rosettes I’m happy as long as I know we did our best each time. Make sure you read my monthly blog to find out what I’ve been up to!”
