delinaOne of my favorite shows, the Royal Windsor took place this month and it produced all the ups and downs, disappointment and excitement that’s expected of RWHS.

To start off Delina and I were supposed to jump the Foxhunter 1.20 in the main ring. The weather decided to put a stop to that and it poured and poured. we got up at 4.30am and went to the yard and got her ready and drove all the way to RWHS ready for 6.30am only to be turned away as it had rained so much the whole show had been cancelled for the day. This was so disappointing as its such a hard class to get into and to top it all off we had tickets to the main evening show which was also cancelled!

With the show cancelled on the first day we had to jump straight in at 1.30 for the B&C and she took me round like a true pro. We worked so hard to get to this level so for her to go round as brilliantly as she did was just amazing.

This class is always fiercely competitive and I new that Ryans Hollie and I stood a good chance as she’s really quick around this height.

Being the last to go in the JO and having to go clear but fast I knew I had to go for it and go for it we did almost 5 seconds faster, but just rolled the last fence to end up in 2nd place and reserve champion. I’m so proud of Ryans Hollie she jumps her heart out for me every time. I’m very lucky to have her.

We had a great start to the day at the Bronze qualifier at Arena UK Hilarius came 5th in a very fast and competitive Bronze League qualifier out of 96 horses. Just missed a qualifying spot by 0.2 of a second but super happy with him he jumped amazing.

I took Chatty Man and Delina to the The Discovery 2nd rounds at Crofton Manor last weekend and both the horses jumped super. Very pleased with both horses today. No limit II Owned by Stephanie Scott just had an unlucky fence in the middle part of the combination in the first round, Delina went on and jumped treble clear to finish 7th in the discovery 2nd round qualifying for the finals
